With both the numerical and video data we can start to build up a picture of archers technical flaws of what’s working well with their technique and report this back to the athlete and coach. We can use the information that Quintic's analysis provides us along with the video data to analyse the variables in the shot allowing us to highlight what causes a bad shot and a good shot and report this information back to the archer. The Synergy Archery program focuses on target archery, a version of archery that takes place indoors and outdoors and focuses on shooting accuracy utilizing. Quintic angular analysis also allows us to calculate joint angles and assess alignment. What we primarily use Quintic for is automatic tracking and linear analysis functions to look at displacement of the joints and velocities in the vertical and horizontal planes when they perform the shot. "As the biomechanist for GB Archery, I use Quintic biomechanics software to analyse the archers, particularly from the overhead view. What does the ArchErie Adult Archery Program offer the archer? In addition to receiving clear instruction and coaching via our National Training System, membership in an archery program provides unique benefits to adults, including the opportunity to make new friends, a great upper-body workout, and the chance to build self-confidence, and learn team-building skills. Similar in scope to USA Archery’s Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) program, the Adult Archery Program is a logical “next step” for adult archers pursuing this lifetime sport. The Adult Archery Program is a program of USA Archery that allows adults to learn proper shooting technique, achieve awards based on score, and pursue competition if they wish, during a series of classes taught by a certified coach or instructor. Earn awards based on scoring achievements (Score will be taken at first class, previous scoring awards may be purchased at participant’s expense = $4 each.).One hour group instruction/coaching per week and 1 hour of open range time to practice.
